Medical laboratory technologist

Job Profile:

Job Responsibility:

1. Perform all laboratory tests in compliance with laboratory standards..

2. Serve as a Laboratory Safety Officer, carrying out duties as specified in the appointment document.

3. Train new and existing employees on assigned laboratory tests and procedures.

4. Collaborate and support quality management system implementation.

5. Ensure the quality control of test results, reagents, and laboratory instruments used in testing.

6. Monitor laboratory safety systems and protective equipment.

7. Prepare and review quality-related documents.

8. Develop and implement an annual laboratory safety training plan.

Job Qualification:

1. Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and hold a valid Medical Technologist license.

2. Have completed at least 6 credits in Molecular Microbiology or meet the qualifications of a Genomic Medicine provider.

3. Have experience handling biological specimens such as blood and tissue samples, with fundamental knowledge of Molecular Oncology will be beneficial.

4. Have completed training in ISO 15189, ISO 15190, or other laboratory standards.

5. Demonstrate proficiency in English communication.
