MSL Manager

Job Responsibilities

1. Contribute to short and long-term business objectives by optimizing medical and clinical excellence throughout the product/service lifecycle.

2. Oversee the MSL team and provide strategic oversight on relationships with Key Opinion Leaders with a solid understanding of the medical/scientific and regulatory environment.

3. Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers to provide comprehensive medical and scientific support

4. Coach all aspects of MSL job performance in line with MSL excellence behaviors.

5. Understand the overall healthcare environment and be an expert empathizing with clinical practice/science in oncology.

6. Provide medical and scientific advice and input for business strategies, market access and others as required.

7. Establish, manage and own high level of scientific and clinical interactions with key customers.

8. Develop and update clinical materials with marketing and sales team.

9. Conduct on-going training to distribution partners, customers and internal personnel as required.

10. Keep up-to-date knowledge of product application and competitor data.

11. Handle questions and requests related to clinical application of products/service and develop in-depth knowledge on clinical data associated with clinical trials, publications and studies.

12. Develop high level scientific and medical/clinical materials for colleagues interacting with regulatory and reimbursement authorities.

Job Qualifications

1. Medical education (MD) or doctorate level education in the felid of cancer biology, molecular biology, molecular oncology, genetics, translational medicine, pharmacology or similar discipline.

2. (For MD) Minimum 3-year clinical practice experience in internal medicine, oncology, genetic medicine, or molecular pathology. Academic research experience is a plus.

3. At least 3 year’s healthcare industry experience (pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device, etc) in education activity, clinical trial, medical communications, and publication planning or market development functions.

4. Superior scientific/medical verbal and writing communication skills in Mandarin and English.
